Ability to Adjust how long every Shot/ Frame is held
It would be good for animation (and maybe live action too) if for every shot/ frame it is possible to set how long it is held on screen.
So if something is animated on “Twos” (standard in animation) the shot/ frame will be held for 2 consecutive frames, for action scenes it can be animated on “Ones” meaning that the frame is only held for 1 frame and for slower scenes it could be animated on “Threes” or “Fours” meaning the shot/ frame will be held on screen for 3 or 4 consecutive frames.
The current available time formats seem less optimal for this.
Would it be possible to add this feature, so you can manually adjust exactly how long each particular shot/ frame is held, (so there is no need to duplicate a held frame in the storyboard, but you only have to put each unique shot/ frame in the storyboard for less clutter.)?
If this feature is added, could it also be shown at the top of each shot/ frame in overview mode and also automatically be applied in playback mode and in he video animatic?

Hello,
Thanks for the detailed request. Good news: this already exists, so there's no need to duplicate drawings.
In Project Settings, set the time format to "Seconds + frames" (or Koma). Plain “Seconds” format counts in tenths of a second, not frames, which is why ones, twos, threes and fours can’t be set there.
To put the whole scene on twos:
In Board View, tap any frame to open it in Focus Mode.
Tap the timing at the top center to open the timing panel.
In the Default section at the bottom, use the frame steppers to set the length to 2f. From now on, every drawing in that scene plays on twos. Frames you already timed individually keep their own length.
For the exceptions, use the steppers besides the blue timing for that frame only (not the Default section) in order to adjust to ones, threes, or fours.
You can quickly time frames and move through your board using the navigation arrows in the timing panel.
With timings turned on (Project Settings > Show Timings), each tile in Board View and Flow View shows its hold ("2f", "3f" and so on). On linked frames, only the first tile shows a time, which is the whole shot's total. To see each drawing's own hold, keep the frames unlinked.
The video animatic follows your holds exactly, frame for frame.
One thing we're improving: on very short holds, playback in Focus Mode can drift slightly behind real time. This only affects playback inside the app. The exported video animatic is not affected and always matches your holds exactly. A fix for playback is coming in an upcoming update.
Let me know if this answers your questions and if it helps you time your animation exactly the way you want.
