DRAWING TOOL brush size control

This is the original posting:

https://shotglide.featurebase.app/p/advanced-brush-size-slider-with-live-preview

It seems to have been forgotten, so I am mentioning it again.

I don’t really care if it’s a slider or an incremental small/med/large/x-large set of switches like we have for eraser. Somehow the current light/normal/bold/heavy controls don’t really work for me by themselves (I always end up using normal).

Anyway, size of the brush would be great, particularly if it can extend our current range.

Thanks for this. Unlike Procreate, ShotGlide uses Apple's own drawing engine, which gives it the native Apple Pencil feel but also caps how thin and how thick each brush can go.

The other limit is that every stroke has to look the same in Board View and Focus Mode. Since Focus Mode is a zoomed-in view of the frame, finer lines drawn there would fade out in Board View, and on the thick end, Pencil and Marker already hit Apple's maximum at Heavy in Focus Mode.

So extending the range of brush sizes would not be compatible with ShotGlide's multi-view architecture. Each weight currently match across both views, and the four weights were set to cover the full usable range in both.

    Thanks for the feedback.

      Understood.
