OVERLAYS

Frame overlays for:

• Action Safe

• Title Safe

• Center Cross

• Rule of Thirds

• Golden Ratio

• Grid

These should be check box controls, NOT mutually exclusive, so that Center Cross can be enabled with Grid, for example. These should be non-printing, non-exporting drawing aids. (Like Ghost Ink 😉)

And perhaps a color or 0-100% opacity slider.

Note: Action safe: 97%, Title Safe 90%. The grid should be a 6×6 proportional grid (useful for people like me who still remember field charts). For Golden Ratio, φ = 1.618, so 1/φ = 0.618 and the complement is 0.382. The divisions sit at 38.2% and 61.8% of each dimension, measured from either edge — symmetrical, so it doesn't matter which side you measure from.
