Select All/ Insert Space Bug

On the drawing page - when touching the screen with your finger - a small prompt appears with two options (Select All) + (Insert Space). Not sure if they’re supposed to do anything, but when selection either option, I’ve noticed nothing happens.

If you added the layer feature I mentioned earlier, maybe the user could use a single finger to select & move the item on the current layer & if they use two fingers, the user could scale & rotate the item on the current layer - would still like to have on screen controls to use the Apple Pencil as well.

    Thanks - that popup is actually a native iOS text-editing menu that the system triggers on its own. It’s not a ShotGlide feature, and you can safely ignore it. It won’t affect your drawing or board data.

    We’ve tried many ways to suppress it, but iOS is extremely persistent about showing it in the drawing view. We’ll keep looking for a reliable way to hide it without risking Apple Pencil stability.

      Thank You! It’s crazy they don’t give you the ability to remove it, i assume they believe everyone may want to select their drawing/ writing as a core functionality?

        Update: this has now been fixed in ShotGlide 1.5.11. The iOS “Select All / Insert Space” popup should no longer appear in the drawing view. Thanks.
