Tiered list structure for storyboard numbering.

Each panel should have:

SCENE

SHOT

PANEL

numbers, like a tiered list, expressed as

SCENE / SHOT / PANEL

Rather than just “shot.” There are a few important reasons for this. THe most important, for storyboarding purposes, is that some “shots” in a film will undoubtedly require more than one panel to describe. Also, if one is attempting to board an entire feature, for example, or even a sequence consisting of multiple scenes, this degree of organization is essential. Add to that the ability to lock any/all storyboard numbering or assign one’s own numbers, and you’ve got a real system!
