SPACER
I would like to be able to set any storyboard frame to print as a null — see example.
As I explained previously, when drawing storyboards the old-fashioned way, sometimes I will place a “zero length” frame (becuase, for example, I want to add more detailed annotation or draw layers individually).
Sometimes though, I will leave a frame blank simply because I want the next shot to begin on the next page, for example. In that case, I will mark the empty frame with an X - just like you are already doing for leftover frames on a page in your ekonte layout. I have always called these “spacers”. I don’t know what other people call them, but I have often seen them in the storyboards drawn by others.
Note: This is related to the topic of ZERO LENGTH and could be an option for frames set up with zero length since only a zero length frame could be a spacer. Of course, zero length frames, whether spacers or not, should not get numbered or contribute to running time.
I guess I could also just draw the X myself 🫤
