Privacy and your data

ShotGlide was built by filmmakers, with a strong focus on respecting the creative process and the privacy of your work.​

All data created or imported in ShotGlide is stored and displayed locally on your device. This includes drawings, storyboard data, imported images, loaded scripts or text files, and any notes you type in the app.

​ShotGlide has no account system, no cloud sync, no server storage, and no built-in upload feature. Your work stays on your device unless you choose to manually export it.

​ShotGlide does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Specifically, ShotGlide:

• does not require signup, login or user accounts

• does not use analytics

• does not track usage

• does not collect location data

• does not share information with third parties​

Purchases are processed securely by Apple.

What this means

• Your work is private by default

• ShotGlide works fully offline

Important

If you delete the app or erase your device without manually exporting a backup, your data will be lost. To keep your work safe, export backups regularly.
