Transform drawings and images

Long-press a frame to access transform controls.

You can transform both drawings and background images using simple gestures:

• Move — drag with one finger

• Scale — pinch with two fingers

• Rotate — drag the rotate handle

To transform only part of a drawing, tap Select and use your Apple Pencil to lasso around the part you want to edit. Only the selected strokes are affected: move, scale, rotate, or flip them, then tap Done to apply.

Background images can also be moved, scaled or rotated. They offer two extra controls:

• Distort — drag the corner handles

• Opacity — use the slider to fade the image, ideal for tracing over references

If a frame contains both an image and a drawing, a picker will appear:

• Edit background — transform the image

• Edit drawing — transform the drawing
