Scenes

ShotGlide lets you organize your project by scene. Keep every storyboard in your film close at hand, and jump between scenes with a single tap.

Open the sidebar

Tap the menu button on the top-left of the top toolbar.

The sidebar shows your project and all of its scenes.

Rename a project

Double-tap the project name to rename it.

Create a scene

Tap the + button next to the project name.

Switch scenes

Tap any scene to open it.

Reorder scenes

Drag a scene using its handle on the left and drop it anywhere in the list.

Scene menu

Tap the ... button on a scene to rename, duplicate, freeze / unfreeze numbers, or delete a scene. Each choice is detailed below:

Rename a scene

Tap Rename scene to rename it. You can also double-tap a scene to rename it.

Duplicate a scene

Tap Duplicate scene to create a copy of a scene.

The duplicate contains all scene data: shot order, linked shots, parked shots, drawings, and images.

The duplicate is a separate scene. Changes to one do not affect the other.

This is useful for trying alternate cuts or variations without affecting your original scene.

Freeze Shot Numbers

Freezing locks all current numbers in a scene, useful once your numbering is shared with your team. See Freeze Shot Numbers for more

Delete a scene

Tap Delete scene to move a scene to the trash. It can be restored later.

Sidebar actions (bottom)

Project settings

Tap the project settings button at the bottom of the sidebar (showing your ratio | fps) to open:

• Aspect ratio — set at project creation, shown for reference

• Frame rate — 24, 25, or 30fps

• Time format — seconds, seconds + frames, or seconds + koma

• Show timings — display each shot's timing directly on the board

Bottom row

• Home — return to the project dashboard

• Settings — access backup and app settings

• Trash — view and restore deleted scenes
